Villa Construction
Yakacık Villa
Turnkey villa construction: a residential project delivered by one team, from structural works to finishes, landscaping and pool.

A three-storey villa on a narrow urban plot in Yakacık, built together with the turquoise-tiled pool in its garden, a small pergola and the parking arrangement.
Making a garden on a narrow plot
On an urban plot the garden is not "what is left over" as it is in the country; every metre is allocated. Here the pool was not placed in the middle of the garden but set against the building and the side boundary, which left a single usable piece of green rather than several fragments. The pool plant was hidden inside the garden wall and takes no floor area.
The neighbouring boundary and the excavation
On a narrow plot, a pool excavation comes close to the neighbour's foundation. The dig was carried out in stages with shoring along the boundary rather than taken to full depth in one go. It is a method that slows the work down and removes the risk of settlement in the neighbouring building — on plots like this it is not optional.
Pool finish and shade
The pool was finished in turquoise ceramic; in a small garden a light water surface makes the area read larger than it is. The small pergola beside it was set on the orientation that shades part of the pool in the afternoon. The garden wall was kept high to cut sightlines from the street, with planting at its base to soften the surface.
Outcome
On a narrow plot a pool is as much a question of excavation and neighbours as of space. Shoring and staged digging were planned here before the pool finish was even chosen. See our residential and villa construction page or request a quotation for your own site.
